I don't know Keran or her family, but I would like to pass on my wishes, and hope that you all have a positive 2008.

I am a special needs teacher, and I have taught children with epilepsy for many years. After reading about Keran's case, I am now even more aware of how vulnerable we are as adults.

Wishing you all the best.

There has always been huge controversy with 'Shaken Baby Syndrome' and terrible miscarriages of justice carried out in past years to wholly innocent people.  Has nothing been learned from this?

The fact that 2 Jurors have come forward and thrown much doubt on the conviction, and the very fact that the Judge's final words were "You will have to live the rest of your life with the knowledge that Maeve died in your care" and not "with the knowledge that you killed Maeve" is proof enough that Keran was not guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.  One has to think 'so much for our justice system'.

We fully support the campaign for Keran's release as soon as possible.

I followed the trial in the newspapers and kept saying to myself, "Where is the evidence?"

I could not believe that a guilty verdict was returned on the flimsy evidence and speculative opinions put to the jury, as reported in the press.

I and many other will be praying for your family, your sanity and a speedy appeal hearing.

I found your website today, and greatly appreciate the sadness you express and the pain you also feel for the family who lost their baby and who do not have a satisfactory explanation for how this happened.

No good has been served by this verdict and no good is ever served by separating a mother from her children.

Keran does not just need to be returned home, she needs this verdict overturned... KEEP UP THE CAMPAIGN

I recently read 'Stolen Innocence' about Sally Clark and what sticks in my mind is that 3 of the jurors at her trial needed help in reading the oath so no hope of the poor souls understanding the medical evidence!

All of us here wish you sucess very soon.

I have known Keran for 12 years, she is a joy to be with and loves life and can lift the spirits of all that are around her, I firmly believe that she can and will get through this with our help and support.

And of course Iain and the children must be finding it harder now, spending Xmas without her (and likewise for Keran) but Iain is doing a great job appearing on television etc. Let us all hope that she will be released soon.

26/12/07

Keep up the good work.

I had doubts about the other cases you mention before they were released but nothing as strong as the injustice in this case.

24/12/07

Just to say that I continue to think of you and pray for you each day, and particularly over this Christmas week when it must be even harder.

So pleased to see all the reports in the press in support of you all, lets hope it really speeds things along and Keran gets home soon.

The outcome of this case appears to be a reversion to medieval 'justice' when  cases would be decided according to the number of 'witnesses' a litigant could muster, (or pay)

According to the report in The Times the judge gave a very broad hint that a conviction would be unsafe but the jurors were apparently swayed by the glitter of so many distinguished "experts, even though they did not agree.

Judging from the 'potted biographies' ot seems that most of them did not have the length of experience I would regard as being necessary to regard oneself as an 'expert'.

I've just read your message on the website and I feel so proud that I know you but so sad that this has happened. Both myself and my daughter were at the light of hope service (I still have the wax on my gloves and my jeans to prove it!) Though the singing left a little bit to be desired the feeling around the rec was one of real hope, that you would be coming home really soon.

The morning before the service I walked my dog in Black Park and a lady saw my badge and ribbon and said do you know her? My Reply was yes I do and I would 100% trust her if she came out of prison today to take care of my daughter.

There were three other ladies around and we spent the next twenty minutes talking about you and why it did not make any sense as to why you could have been accused of this let alone convicted of it.  All of them said that they hoped you would be released soon and the truth would come out.

We as a family have our fingers crossed, toes crossed and anything else you can cross that we will see you soon back home in Iver Heath.

I could not believe my eyes when I switched on the tv the other morning and saw you on GMTV. I said to my kids that man looks very like someone I used to work with then I rapidly realised with horror that it was really you.

Just to say I hope that somehow you get through all this, it is a horrendous situation and my heart goes out to you and the boys and to Keran.

It's a long time since we were all at Hyde Park, we now live in the highlands of Scotland but it is a time in my life I'll never forget.

Please take care, I will follow this with interest and fingers crossed for a speedy and positive outcome.

All the best to you with your campaign.  Reliance on bad science and hearsay is turning the legal system into a mockery.  I wish you and Keran all the best wishes possible.  May your Christmas be as happy as possible.

21/12/07

I know it won't be the happiest Christmas but I jus wanted to wish you strength and peace for the season and that Keran is able to successfully appeal soon.  Please tell her I wish her luck and am thinking of her.

When I read about the court case one thought went through my mind, Oh god please not another one!

It seems to me that sbs is mans last weapon against women, I'm not a feminist however I do believe that Keran and a large amount of other women are serving sentences that should never have been given, and I don't ever remember a man being accused of sbs.

I believe she is innocent.

I'm ashamed of our legal system for allowing this to happen.

I do not believe Keran Henderson did what she was accused of, and the case was badly under-reported too. I never thought Sally Clarke committed murder, and it is now proved that she didn't but sadly she could not take any more of what life had thrown at her.

I always believed Louise Woodward was innocent as well. I am a mother and I know that kids can wind us all up at times, but we don't resort to hitting or shaking then! Keran, I hope you are back with your loved ones really soon. You are not forgotten. Best wishes and praying for justice for you.

20/12/07

Please pass on my hope to Keran at this time I saw her husband on GMTV this morning and emailed them they gave me this site, I was shocked it made me feel very sad to know she can't be with her little ones at this time of year, what a world we live in when other people get things so wrong and it affects so many other peoples lives.

I just hope that justice can be done and seen to be done and they release her. I have 6 grandchildren and can't imagine the pain the family must be going through not having their mum at home especially at Christmas.

It’s also very sad that a child has been lost, the pain for the parents will never leave them and I'm sure they must be going through a living hell, I feel for them also.

I send my regards and hope to you all and will be watching and hoping all through the season for the best news that she is home with her boys.

Just a line of support for Keran Henderson. I am sure that Keran will be home with her family where she belongs, before too long. Hang in there Keran.

I do not know Keran and live nowhere near her but I have felt from this case first hitting the headlines that Keran was not responsible for the death of that little girl. I am no expert but many things simply did not add up. I was shocked when Keran was found guilty when so much evidence pointed to the fact that the little girl had been in ill health from the time that Keran started minding her.

Maybe I look differently at these things because I support families who have autistic children and I know how easy it is to be at the end of an accusing finger being pointed in our direction.

I was not in the least surprised today when I read in the press that 2 of the jurors do not believe that Keran is guilty. I really do hope and pray that justice is done here and that Karen is freed soon and back with her family.

So obvious Keran is innocent she should be released at once.

I do not know Keran and her family but have taken a close interest in the case. It is shocking that a woman with such a record of care and dedication from a family that are so well thought of can be convicted on such unconvincing “evidence”.

It defies all notions of common sense, let alone justice. The decision should be overturned on appeal and it should prompt the start of a wide-ranging and high level review of Child Protection cases in both the criminal and family courts. The role of the medical expert witness also has to come under close scrutiny and changes have to be made.

I look after children myself as well as four children of my own.  What has happend to Keran is my biggest nightmare. I have just read the article in the Daily Mail.  What a miscarriage of justice!  Lets hope and pray that British Justice does something about this soon and she is freed to be with her husband, children and family.

Ever since I first read the case in the national press, I have been convinced that Keran Henderson is the victim of a gross miscarriage of justice.

Having being presented with all the evidence, I find it incredible that the Jury returned a verdict of 'Guilty' and it just goes to show that there are occasions where such trials should be reconsidered very carefully.

Hopefully justice will be done and Keran will be reunited with her family as soon as possible so that she can try and rebuild her life.

May God bless them and care for them until that time.

My wife and I found out the other day from a friend in Iver Heath the terrible injustice that Keran and Iain have been through and are going through.

We support you all the way in trying to turn this injustice around. It sounds incredible that jury made such a decision. The sooner this goes to the appeal court the better. We wish Keran, yourself and the boys all the strength needed to get through this difficult time.

I just watched Iain on GMTV and have read all the articles I could find over the last 24 hours.  I am hoping and praying that justice is served and Karen will be reunited with you all in time for Christmas.

The courage, dignity and respect you have demonstrated is a banner to all and I am confident you will all be together very soon.

Best wishes and continue with the fight.

I was online from Australia and read in the paper about this case. After reading about what happened, I cannot believe the jury found Keran guilty.

Everything I have read tells me that this baby was not a healthy baby and the duty of care was definitely in the hands of her parents who should have investigated thoroughly what was wrong with their child, instead of putting her in the hand of a childminder.

The fact that Keran accepted this child, problems and all shows her to be a decent person and doesn't deserve this. I hope to God justice will prevail in the end as a miscarriage of justice has occurred here.

I have just read on the Times website the dreadful situation your wife Keran has found herself in not forgetting yourself and your two sons also. Having found the link to this site and read further I am shocked and saddened that yet another miscarriage of justice has occurred.

Your wife is quite obviously a loving and caring person but when the CPS and court system take hold well you know only to well what happens. I have no faith in the British justice system.

Many court cases are based on very circumstantial evidence made to look good by these so called expert witnesses no doubt receiving a large sum for their time. If possible could you pass on my kindest regards to Keran.

When I heard about Keran I was astounded of what happened and shocked. I can’t believe what these people think about her. I was recently on a scout camp with her and the family in May/June time this year and the way she works with the kids is unbelievable.

Out of all of the leaders the kids looked up to her for support and need to get them through the week away from home.

Out of all the people her caring and loving attitude can not be compared to anyone else. She is a one in a million to all of us and especially me, and I will do everything in my power to help her through this appalling allegation.

I would just like to say that the moment I read about this story in the papers, alarm bells rang. Like similar miscarriages of justice, there seems to be major flaws in this case.

I totally support your campaign and hope that an appeal can be launched at the earliest opportunity. I hope that with your support and messages of goodwill, Keran Henderson may feel that people are behind her.

Lets hope that more jurors come forward.  I appreciate it must be a hard job for them to sit and listen to so called experts day after day.  I went in court when they were giving their evidence but from what I can understand the experts conflicted with each other.  Surely this is enough to allow an appeal.

It is bad enough that Keran is in prison but her boys are suffering and need her home.  What good is this doing?  Maeve also deserves justice being done.  Let’s hope truth will out for everyone concerned.  Sending you my love Keran and thinking of you all the time

I so applaud the juror who bravely stood up today and announced on Radio 5 live her doubt in Keran's conviction.  May this be the start of more jurors having the confidence to stand up and say they were wrong.

16/12/07

Love and best wishes to keran and her 3 little soldiers (maybe 2 little 1 big) who should be together at this time and any other time of the year. X

13/12/07

My heart is aching for Keran and all her family, it is almost like someone has attacked MY daughter.  I KNOW without a shadow of a doubt that Keran would not hurt anyone, or anything, she always had and still has such a loving caring nature.

I wish there was something I could do to take all the hurt away, I wish there was something I could do to place her back where she belongs, at home with Iain and  her boys for Christmas.

I send my love and thoughts to Keran, Iain and the boys and all members of the family.

10/12/07

We are so shocked by this. So sorry. Miss you. Hope your nightmare will soon be over.

Iain, we have read your letter and all the supporting letters you have received with increasing horror at the injustice which is being done by an idiotic court which evidently has made no effort to take into account all the evidence available by, for example, calling all the people who know the nature of the situation to give evidence.

Can you not find some kind of lawyer who would be willing to consider all this evidence and use it as a basis of an appeal to have this dreadful injustice corrected?

In the meanwhile you will be in out thoughts and prayers and we will be very much hoping that you can come through this affair as a united and happy family again.  If there is any way in which we can help, please let us know.

Yours with love and best wishes.

I worked with Keran last year and like the people who have commented on your website cannot understand how Keran could have been convicted.  When reports of the case were published in the national papers I wrote in reply to the comments made by a journalist who agreed that there had been a grave miscarriage of justice in Keran's case.

Yesterday I drove through Iver Heath which I never normally do and saw all the yellow ribbons and thought it may be for Keran, so searched on the net and found your site.  Please send my best wishes to Keran and let her know that we are supporting her.

I have never met Keran, but my mum is very good friends with Kerens mum. We as a family are devastated that this could happen to such a wonderful person’s daughter. We know that it is a miscarriage of justice. We want Keran and her family to know that we are all here to support her parents. Keran, you are in our thoughts and prayers. x x

You poor poor things. To keren and her family and friends, my heart goes out to you.  Stay strong and i pray this miscarriage of justice will be overturned.  This country has gone mad. Best wishes,

These controversial verdicts are always hard to stomach. We were known to have the best and fairest legal system in the world?  But it seems, not any more. There have been so many convictions based on the evidence of the so called "Expert Witness" which have been proved to be, at the very least: - unreliable.

I do feel for Keran and her family. It is obvious that she is well thought of, in - Iver Heath, the Village rallying, and fighting the common cause on behalf of Keran and her family.

Hopefully a retrial will defeat the prosecution when all of the evidence is taken into consideration. I do wish you all, every success in defeating the present verdict.

My sympathy goes out to the parents of the little girl, who must also, be devastated.
But a correct verdict is paramount, if an innocent person is wrongly accused.

All the very best to Keran and family.

We sit in front of our computer trying to compose a message that will try to lighten your heart in some way at this awful time. We cannot believe the huge injustice that has beset you and your family. Knowing you as we do, we cannot understand how anyone could entertain the ridiculous idea that you would ever have done such a thing.

You are the most loving caring  and unselfish person we know and that it is reflected by the support you have around our village and all over the world. Every time we look at the posters, ribbons, tee shirts and arm bands we think of you. We will continue supporting your campaign until we have you back with us.

Our love and support
