The National Child-minding Association (the NCMA)
could do nothing more than put us in touch with a legal advisor,
who at one point had to be reminded that the case was still going
on, even though the Police have said there isn’t much evidence
compared to some cases. However once they realised the case was
still ongoing (it dragged on for so long you could hardly blame
them), they then allocated a more local Solicitor to help fight
the case full time.
The NCMA also offered us the number of the regional
rep, who admitted to not being trained to counsel, or advice.
So maybe that needs to be reviewed in future cases.
