Autumn & Winter 2006 / 2007
Hello again to all supporters of Keran, and her family and friends. Just before the sad run up to the Court Case early in 2007 I thought I would add a few lines.
The legal team have been busy building there case and I would remind anyone, who knows Keran that they are invited to submit references, you don’t have to be a relative or one of the parents whose children Keran cared for, Friends and Acquaintances are more than welcome to. Please contact us via the website, please continue to care for a carer. This is your chance to help stop an injustice.
As the website is very public and obviously we have to be mindful of not giving too much away prior to the trial. So the update will be very general.
The family are still receiving info even at this late hour from the prosecution. Who have had many, many months to put their case together. It looks however like we will have a lot less time which, includes that favourite working period over Christmas.
Yet again this year (2006) another Child Abuse type case was thrown out after a Miscarriage of justice. The most recent case kicked out was that of the young mum, prosecuted over the death of her child in the ‘salt poisoning’ case. Medical experts yet again seem to rule the day, with the Police and CPS virtually duty bound to do something.
It will be interesting to see if the medicines given to the child in this case caused or seriously contributed to the child’s sad death as apparently they in some cases contained salt! As reported by some members of the press in articles after the case was kicked out.
The Mum was subjected to covert surveillance by the Police, something no doubt that could have happened with this case and no doubt very dull watching (or listening) the Henderson’s would have made (according to the Henderson’s).
Anyway there have been numerous events going on that the family have had to cope with during 2006, the Police, Social Services still keep in touch, Ofsted (the Governments Childminding watchdog) haven’t been since they demanded money after suspending Keran in the early days and the Media have been seen stalking outside of the family home on occasion. Which causes some considerable Harassment, Alarm and Distress to the family members. So much for Innocent till proven guilty, by all parties concerned.
Thankfully there have been some positives for Keran and her family throughout 2006. None so much as the continued support of friends, family, and those around them that know this is a grave injustice. Thank you all, it means so much to them.

It has been a few weeks since this website has
been up and running through the hard work of two people. I would
like to thank Alasdair and Suzanne MacLeod, who have spent many
long hours including burning the midnight oil to get this website
up and running. So many people have commented on the site and
how great an idea it was by them (Alasdair & Suzanne) to put
it together.
This website has allowed so many people, some
we have known really well for many years and others who are newer
friends and carers for Keran and indeed the boys and myself to
e-mail their support. This is on top of all the calls, visits,
cards, letters we have received.
To all of you that have shown you care, I thank
you on behalf of Keran, the boys and myself. Words seem so inadequate,
in contrast to such friendship, support and warmth.
Thank you and please continue to care.

On the 15th May 2006, Keran Henderson was falsely
accused of a serious offence.
Many friends, family, clients and aquaintances
of Kerans have been deeply shocked by these accusations as you
could not meet a more kind, loving and caring person.
This site has been created to show Keran and
everyone else, just how much she means to all of us.
